Fountain In The Midst
In the city there were two beautiful trees standing alongside a path which leads to a great city.
One day a stranger came by and took notice and wanted to remove one. The other tree cried out, for that was his mate since they were planted. The one tree that was sought to be removed cried out as well, but had a plan to stop this from happening.
Another stranger came by and place a fountain between the two trees and gave the trees a continual watering from it’s mist.
Time was passing by and both trees spread it’s roots deep and wide, entangling one another. Passerby’s who saw the fountain and the two trees, flipped coins into the fountain.
The stranger who wanted to uproot the one tree came by and saw the fountain full of coins and was furious, and in his anger he scooped up the coins and took them home.
Night and day this bothered him, so he went out and came back to the fountain
and rested there. The one tree that was crying dropped a tear on the man and he fell over with shame, and so he went home got the coins and gave them back to the fountain.
The other tree leaned forward and bent it’s limb to the stranger’s head and said “Do you not get that this fountain gives life, and if you touch one of us for gain it will not bless”. “When you leave here, go and tell everyone to leave what is together - together, and if you bless the fountain it will bless you”.
The man ran away and discontinued his actions. He purchased the land the two trees and the fountain were in and declared it a historical place, marking it with a seal. And after that all walks of life were blessed by it’s beauty.
Whatever is done in secret will come to light.
For it is a man’s heart that belongs
to God.
Psalm Chapter 96:12
Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the
wood rejoice.
To God I Give All The Glory, Honor, And Praise!
